ToremovetheThinkServerRAIDSuperCapacitorModule,dothefollowing:
1.Removeallexternalmediafromthedrivesandturnoffallattacheddevicesandtheserver.Then,
disconnectallpowercordsfromelectricaloutletsanddisconnectallcablesthatareconnectedto
theserver.
2.Prepareyourserver.See“Removingorextendingtheserverfromtherackcabinet”onpage55.
3.Removetheservercover.See“Removingtheservercover”onpage55.
4.DisconnectthecableoftheThinkServerRAIDSuperCapacitorModulefromtheRAIDcard.
5.Gentlylifttheplastictab1thatsecurestheThinkServerRAIDSuperCapacitorModule.Then,slidethe
ThinkServerRAIDSuperCapacitorModuleasshowntocompletelyremoveitfromthechassis.
