Thissectionprovidesinstructionsonhowtoremovethecomputercover.
CAUTION:
Turnoffthecomputerandwaitthreetoveminutestoletthecomputercoolbeforeremovingthe
computercover.
Toremovethecomputercover,dothefollowing:
1.Removeanymediafromthedrivesandturnoffallattacheddevicesandthecomputer.
2.Disconnectallpowercordsfromelectricaloutlets.
3.Disconnectthepowercord,Input/Outputcables,andanyothercablesthatareconnectedtothe

4.Removeanylockingdevicethatsecuresthecomputercover,suchasapadlockoraKensington-style

5.Removeanyscrewsthatsecurethecomputercover.
6.Pressthecover-releasebuttononthesideofthecomputerandslidethecovertotherearofthe
computertoremovethecover.
