4. Troubleshooting and fault elimination
If faults occur during the operation of the teachware, the table below helps you to identify the caus-
es. Further help on troubleshooting can be found in the Lenze controller, inverter and motor docu-
mentation. If it is not possible to remedy the fault using the measures listed, please contact the Len-
ze aftersales service department (see Repair in chapter 6).
Fault
Possible causes
Remedy
Irregular running
Gain of control loops too large
Adjust the gains of the controllers (see doc-
umentation inverter i950)
Vibrations
Insufficiently balanced flywheel
Rebalance
Loose fixing screws
Check and tighten screw connections
Motor too hot (can only be evaluated by
measuring the surface temperature)
Incorrect parameterization of the motor data
Adapt motor and encoder parameters in
inverter i500, if necessary
5. Maintenance
teachware is practically maintenance-free, if the prescribed operating conditions are observed.
Please consider on site the national regulations for the regular checks of electrical equipment (e.g.
according to EN 60204, DIN VDE 0113).
Only use a lightly moistened cloth and mild soapy water for cleaning the surface of the teachware.
Do not use abrasive or cleaning solutions containing solvents (e.g. acetone, ethyl alcohol).
Stop!
An unsuitable detergent can cause stress cracks in the polycarbonate plate.
