Basic commissioning

2. Select the procedure in the Start-up wizard.
• For instance the option "Select component from
catalogue".

3. Add the corresponding components from the catalogue
to the project:
• 9400 HighLine controller
• Device modules
• Application
• Motor
4. Select controller from the Project view and make basic
settings: Application parameters tab:  Software manual* 9400 HighLine:
• Set mains voltage & machine parameters. Overview  Drive interface  Machine parameter Chapter "Drive interface  Machine parameter"
• Select motor control type. Overview  Motor Chapter "Motor interface"
• Assign encoder/feedback system. Overview  Motor  Encoder Chapter "Encoder evaluation"

5. Optional parameter setting:

• Adapt port assignment and establish network/
communication.

6. Connect controller to mains -  9400 Hardware manual
7. Go online, update application, and transmit it to
controller.
