8 Remove the E-clip (E), and then remove the MPF sector gear (F).

Reverse solenoid removal

1 Remove the right cover. See “Right cover removal” on page 178.

2 Remove the left cover. See “Left cover removal” on page 166.

3 Remove the rear door and cover. See “Rear door and cover removal” on page 240.

4 Remove the top cover. See “Top cover removal” on page 245.

5 Remove the cooling fan. See “Cooling fan removals” on page 180.

6 Disconnect cable JDRSOL1 from the controller board.
