5 Remove the two screws (A) in front.

6 Remove the two screws (B) at the rear.

7 Lift the top cover to remove.

Laser scanning unit (LSU) removal

1 Remove the right cover. See “Right cover removal” on page 178.

2 Remove the left cover. See “Left cover removal” on page 166.

3 Remove the rear door and cover. See “Rear door and cover removal” on page 240.

4 Remove the top cover. See “Top cover removal” on page 245.

5 Remove the cooling fan. See “Cooling fan removals” on page 180.

6 Disconnect the cable (A) from the LSU.
