F08. ECT AND VSC FUNCTIONS
Check that the indicator lights come
on when the switches are selected.
a) Electronic Controlled Transmis-
sion (ECT)
D The “ECT PWR” indicator
light will illuminate when the
“PWR” mode is selected.
D The “ECT SNOW” indicator
light will illuminate when the
“SNOW” mode is selected.
b) Vehicle Stability Control system
(VSC)
1. Turn off the traction control
system by pushing the “VSC
OFF” switch and check that
the slip indicator light illumi-
nates.
2. Turn off the traction control
system and the VSC by push-
ing and holding the “VSC
OFF” switch for 3 seconds or
more with the vehicle
stopped, and check that the
slip indicator comes on and
that the appropriate message
appears on the multiïinforma-
tion display.
3. Turn on the system by push-
ing the switch again.

a) Vehicle Height Control
D The “HE IGHT HI” indi cator
light will illuminate when the
“HIGH” mode is selected.
D The indicator light will go off
with the “HIGH” mode off.
