e) Check that the turn signal lights
and turn signal indicator lights
blink when the emergency flasher
switch is on.
f) Check that the i nstrument panel
light control switches operate
properly.
g) Check that the horn sounds when
the horn button is depressed.
h) Check that the front fog lights are
on when front fog light switch is
on with the headlights on.
B15. WIPERS AND WASHERS
With the engine switch in the “IG-
ON” mode:
a) Push the lever toward you and
check that washer fluid squirts
onto the proper area of the wind-
shield and that wipers activate.
Wipers will make one additional
pass after a 3-second delay.
b) Check wiper speed operation on
mist, intermittent, low and high
cycles. Check that the wiper
blades wipe off the washer fluid
cleanly.
c) The wipers should not make any
abnormal noise when operating.
For raindrop detection type

d) With the wiper switch lever in the
auto position, splash the water on
the windshield around the wind-
shield sensor and check that the
wipers operate.
Note: Add washer fluid up to the
proper level.
