B09. OUTSIDE REAR VIEW MIRRORS
a) Check power outside rearview
mirror operation with the engine
switch in the “ACC” or “IGïON”
mode.
1. Operate the master switch “L”
(left) and “R” (right) and
move the control switch in the
desired direction (up, down or
sideïtoïside). Check that the
mirrors operate smoothly.
2. Push the right of the mirror
folding switch to fold the mir-
ror, and push the left side of
the swi tch to extend the mir-
ror.
3. With the mirror folding switch
in the neutral position (the in-
dicator is then illuminated),
lock the doors and check that
the mirrors are folded.
b) With the engine switch in the
“IGïON” mode, check that the
mirrors move down quickly when
shifting into the “R” position.
Note: The master switch must be in
the “L” or “R” position.
c) Check the operation of mirror de-
foggers.
Turn on the outside rear view
mirror defogger switch with the
engine switch in the “IGïON”
mode and check by hand that
the rear view mirrors become
hot.
d) Check that the outer foot lights il-
luminate in the following condi-
tions.
D When entering the effective
range of the smart access
function (about 2.3 ft. from
each outside door handle)
with the electronic key car-
ried.
D The doors are unlocked with
the wireless remote control.
