D Check that the outer foot lights
illuminate for 15 seconds and
they will go off.
D When the shift lever is moved
out of the “P” position, the outer
foot lights go off.
B10. DRIVING POSITI ON MEMORY
SYSTEM
a) With the engine switch in the “IG-
ON” mode and the shift lever in
“P”, test the operation.
1. Adjust the driver ’s seat, driv-
er ’s shoulder belt anchor, tilt
and telescopic steering and
outside rear view mirrors to
the desired positions.
2. While pushing the “SET” but-
ton, push down the button “1”,
“2” or “3” until the beep
sounds.
3. Check all buttons (1, 2 and 3)
to make sure that all memo-
rized settings operate correct-
ly.
b) With the engine switch in the
“OFF” mode, and the driver ’s
door closed, check that the driv-
ing position memory operates
properly when the doors are
locked.
1. Record the position on the
electronic key.
Using the wireless remote
control: While pressing “1”,
“2” or “3”, push the
button
on the wireless remote con-
trol until the signal beeps.
Note: To prevent triggering the
alarm, open the driver ’s door soon
after recording the position.
