Seat Belt Reminder
Light and Buzzer
sounds to alert the driver and front passenger that his or
her seat belt is not fastened. The buzzer sounds
intermittently for 10 seconds after the vehicle has
reached a speed of at least 12 mph. Then, if the seat
belt is still unfastened, the buzzer will sound in a
different tone for 20 more seconds.
SRS Warning Light
This light will come on when the engine switch is
selected in the “IGïON” mode. After about 6 seconds,
the light will go off. This means the system is operating
properly.
Charging System
Warning Light
This light comes on if the battery is being discharged.
This light comes on when “IGïON” mode is selected, and
goes off when the engine is started.
Malfunction Indicator
Lamp
This light warns that there is a problem somewhere in
the engine electrical system, automatic transmission
electrical system or electronic throttle control system.
Master Warning Light
If the master warning light comes on, a message
appears on the MultiïInformation Display.
Electric Power Steering
System Warning Light
This light comes on when the engine switch is selected
in the “IGïON” mode and goes off when the engine is
started. This means that the system is operating properly.
This light warns that there is a problem somewhere in
the electric power steering system.
Also when the battery charge is not enough or the
electricity temporarily decreases, the light might come on.
Antiïlock Brake System
Warning Light
The light comes on when the engine switch is selected in
the “IGïON” mode and goes off after 3 seconds.
This means that the system is operating properly. This
light warns that there is problem somewhere in the
antiïlock brake system and the brake assist system.
PreïCollision System
Warning Light
The light warns that there is a problem somewhere in the
preïcollision system. The light comes on when the
engine switch is selected in the “IGïON” mode. If the
system works properly, the light turns off after a few
seconds.
