  If the LG-Ericsson PBX system experiences a power failure, first ensure the fuse/breaker is working and AC power is reaching the outlet. Check the PSU fuse and LD21, LD22 on the backplane; replace the PSU if needed. Also verify the MPB is installed and check for short circuits by removing boards one at a time from the KSU. Finally, check the DC output status on the MB if LD4 LED is off on the MPB.

  If your LG-Ericsson PBX expansion KSU does not operate, use the proper power-up sequence: first, turn on all EKSUs, then power on the Basic KSU. Press the MPB Reset button to reset the system. Also, check the expansion cable for connection and condition. Ensure that the BKSU power is on, the MPB is installed, the PSU is plugged in, AC power is delivered to the outlet, and the fuse/breaker is operational.
