Introduction
a POWER button
Switches the recorder ON or OFF.
b PLAY (N)
Starts playback.
c x (STOP)
Stops playback or recording.
d z (REC)
Starts recording. Press repeatedly to set the
recording time.
e PROG. (V/v)
Scans up or down through memorized channels.
f Disc Tray
Insert a disc here.
g Z (OPEN/CLOSE)
Opens or closes the disc tray.
h Display window
Shows the current status of the recorder (clock,
program number, etc).
i Remote Sensor
Point the recorder remote control here.
j VIDEO IN/AUDIO IN (Left/Right)
Connect the audio/video output of an external
source (Audio system, TV/ Monitor, VCR,
Camcorder, etc.).
k S-VIDEO IN
Connect the S-Video output of an external source
(TV/ Monitor, VCR, Camcorder, etc.).

Passes the signal from the AERIAL to your

Connect to a TV with SCART jack.

source (Set Top Box, VCR, etc.).
e COAXIAL (Digital audio out jack)
Connect to digital (coaxial) audio equipment.
f AC Power Cord
Plug into the power source.
