<On-Screen Unlock>
• If you entered an incorrect Pattern, PIN,
or Password for ve times, a message is
displayed to remind you to re-input the
pattern after 30 seconds.
• If you forget unlocking Pattern/PIN/Password
number/password, contact a docomo Shop.
<Lock screen notication>
• When the screen lock is set to
"Pattern"/"PIN"/"Password", a screen
appears so that you can select the
notication displayed on the lock screen.
When "Hide sensitive notication
content"/"Hide all notications" is
selected, note that the notication icons,
caller's name, phone number, the number
of missed calls/voicemails may not be
displayed on the lock screen anymore.
<Terminal lock>
• Set whether entering the screen unlock
method you specied is required every
time the terminal is turned on
• The terminal will be initialized if you fail to
enter the screen unlock method specied
number of times. Be careful not to forget
the screen unlock method you specied.
Setting screen lock method
Set the screen lock method.

From the Home screen, tap
"Settings" → "Lock screen &
security" → "Select screen lock"
None Disable the security of
unlocking screen.
Swipe
Swipe to unlock screen.
Pattern Draw pattern to unlock
screen. You can set your
favorite pattern.
PIN Enter a PIN to unlock
screen. Follow the on-
screen instructions to
enter a 4 to 16-digit
number.
Password
Enter a PIN to unlock
screen. Follow the on-
screen instructions to enter
a 4 to 16-digit password
including alphabets.
