Note: when disassembling,
wear glove to operate and
take care not to let the recoil
spring snap.
Reassembly:
Hook the outer hook in the
groove of the starter reel and
inner hook on the starter case
tab.

1. Disassembly/reassembly of starter
Return spring
Recoil starter
Reassembly:
Remove dirt and debris before
installation.
The installation direction can
be changed by changing the
relative positions of the holes
in recoil starter case.
Hexagon flange bolt 6×8（3）

Reassembly:
Install reel on the starter
case after installing the
return spring.
Starter rope
Reassembly:
Check the rope for fraying
or wearing before
installation.
Guide plate
Reassembly:
Allow end of ratchet
to be out of the notch
of the reel cover.

Installation:
Apply thread locking
agent on thread before
installing.
