8.2 RTC Battery
8.2.1 Battery specification
Purpose
Program and data backup,
RTC operation in case of power failure
Manganese Dioxide lithium battery
8.2.2 Notice in using
1. Do not heat the battery or reverse the polarity. It may reduce battery life.
2. Do not short. It may cause fire.
3. Do not disassemble the battery.
8.2.3 Life of battery
Life of battery depends on the power failure time and ambient temperature etc..
If battery is getting low, main unit will trigger, ‘battery voltage low warning’. Error LED will illuminate and flag
with error message will occur in XG5000.
