8. Turn On Power
Follow these instructions to start the PortMaster.
Procedure
1. Attach the power cord to the PortMaster and to a properly grounded electrical
outlet (PM-2i shown).
2. Turn the power switch on (PM-2i shown).
3. If you are using BRI, verify the following:
– U interface. The BRI status LED flashes once at startup then flashes twice per
second. After the service profile identifier (SPID) is set, the BRI status LED
stays solidly lit.
