6 Basic flight evaluation
Basic flight evaluation tools are contained in LXe. They include:
• Data integrity check
• Baro trace (Barogram)
• ENL trace
• Flight trace (Route)
• Confirmation check (Confirmation)
• IGC file in readable ASCI format
The ENL indication is achieved using of microphone and special band pass filters. While non-powered gliders
will produce a specific noise signature, a powered glider will produce a full deflection signal when the engine is
operated.
