Storage and preseason preparation
Have an authorized LYNX dealer inspect fuel and oil systems integrity as
specified in PERIODIC MAINTENANCE CHART.
Storage
It is during summer, or when a snowmobile is not in use for more than one month
that proper storage is a necessity.
Engine cooling system
Antifreeze should be replaced for the storage period to prevent antifreeze deterio-
ration. The antifreeze replacement and a density test should be performed by an
authorized LYNX dealer.
CAUTION: Improper antifreeze mixture might allow freezing of the liquid in the
cooling system if vehicle is stored in area where freezing point is reached. This
would seriously damage the engine. Failure to replace the antifreeze for storage
may cause its degradation which could result in poor cooling when engine will be
used.
CAUTION: Do not run engine during storage period.
Preseason preparation
Refer to an authorized LYNX dealer.
CAUTION: Have carburetor(s) cleaned-up before restarting engine on so equip-
ped models.
Rear grab handles
Rear grab handles provides a grip for the passenger. Rear grab handle height can
be adjusted.
Lift up adjustment lock, move rear grab handle to desired position. Fasten adjust-
ment lock. Proceed same on opposite side.
Adjustable backrest
The backrest position and support angle may be adjusted to suit driver or passen-
ger convenience.
