Emptying water separator fuel pre-filter
Check the water separator regularly and empty it as
necessary. You can recognise in the viewing window of the
water separator if water has settled, by means of the colour
difference between water and fuel.
WARNING!
Danger of fire!
When handling fuels there is an increased risk of fire,
because fuels are highly flammable.
X Fire, naked flames, smoking, and creating sparks
must be avoided when handling fuels.
WARNING!
Danger of injury and poisoning!
Fuels can cause poisoning and irritate the skin if they
are inhaled or make contact with body parts.
X Wear protective clothing when working with fuels.

2 Water level sensor plug
3 Water drain valve with self-aeration
X
Place a suitable collection container underneath the fuel
pre-filter.
X Pull the plug of the water level sensor 2 carefully from the
water drain valve 3.
X Open the water drain valve 2 and allow the water-fuel
mixture to drain completely.
Dispose of the drained water-fuel mixture in an
environmentally friendly way.
X Close the water drain valve 3.
X Connect the water sensor to the water drain valve again 3.
