Electrical system
General information
The MT is equipped with a 24 V direct current system. Two
batteries store the electrical energy generated by the engine's
rotary current alternator.

The batteries are located in the battery box on the left driver
side.

A main battery switch breaks the electrical connection of the
vehicle battery to the electrical consumers.
WARNING!
Electric shock!
The cable and the connection of the rotary current
alternator are under voltage even when the main
battery switch is turned off.
That is why repairs to the rotary current alternator can
cause damage to the electrical equipment and cause
serious accidents with personal injuries.
X Disconnect the vehicle battery's negative terminal
before repairing the alternator.
