Air filter
The air filter system consists of a dry air filter with replaceable
paper filter cartridge. If the customer requests it, the air filter
system can be fit with an electrical maintenance display.
For especially dusty conditions, the air filter system
can be equipped with an additional security cartridge
(secondary element).

Stop the engine and withdraw the ignition key.
X Clean the area around the housing cover 3 of the air filter.
X Check the air filter for external damage.
X Loosen the clamps 1 and remove the housing cover 3.
X Check the housing cover 3 for signs of soiling and, if
necessary, clean the housing cover.
X Place the housing cover 3 on top and tighten it using
clamps 1.
