WARNING!
Danger of injury!
The motor is rather hot during operation and also for
some time after being switched off.
Hot motor parts can cause burns when touched by
unprotected skin.
X Allow all motor parts to cool down before test and
maintenance work on the motor.
X Otherwise, wear suitable protective gloves and
clothing that protects you from hot motor parts.
WARNING!
Danger of injury!
Rotating motor parts can catch, pull in and thereby
crush or maim body parts.
X Allow all motor parts to come to a stop before
beginning with test and maintenance work on the
motor.
X Wear closed and close-fitting work clothing. Take off
watches, necklaces and scarves. Wear a hairnet if
your hair is long.
X Make sure that the engine cannot be switched on.

Visually inspect the elastic bearing elements of the engine.
Look for deformations, damage and fractures.
Have the repairs carried out by qualified technicians.
Defective bearing elements should always be replaced
in pairs.
