Cleaning the fuel tank
Dirt and water settle at the bottom of the fuel tank. You can
remove the deposits and water through the tank's drain plug.
The tank is located on the vehicle's right side.

DANGER!
Danger of injury!
Fuel is easily flammable and harmful to health.
X Fire, naked flames, smoking, and creating sparks
must be avoided when handling fuels.
X Avoid fuel from coming into contact with skin or
clothing.
X Do not breathe in fuel fumes.
We recommend cleaning the fuel tank at low fill levels.
X Park the MT on level ground.
X Stop the engine and withdraw the ignition key.
X Place a suitable collection container underneath drain plug.
X Unscrew the drain plug completely.
Have a new seal ready at hand.
X Allow a couple of litres of fuel to drain to rinse out the
contamination.
X Screw the drain plug back in with a new seal.
X Check the drain plug for leaks.
