Checking hydraulic hoses and connection pieces
WARNING!
Danger of injury!
With damaged hydraulic hoses and connection pieces,
there is a danger of injury from hydraulic oil spraying
out suddenly at high pressure.
X If there are oil spots under the MT, check
immediately where the leak comes from.
X Rectify the cause for the leak immediately.
X Pay attention to firmly seated hydraulic hoses and
connection pieces.
X Replace hydraulic hoses every five years at the
latest to avoid hydraulic hoses that become porous
by ageing.
Check the hydraulic hoses and connection pieces for
z leaks,
z porosity,
z damages, such as nicks and abrasion,
z proper mounting.
X Replace porous and damaged hydraulic hoses immediately
with new hydraulic hoses.
X Tighten loose connections.
