5.5 Installing under Mac OS X
Begin by installing the security camera as per the manual instructions up to (and including)
Section 5.2. To be able to con gure the camera on your Mac OS X system, you rst have
to establish your router’s IP address. Once you have this you can then access your router’s
con guration screen. Next, you will need the security camera’s IP address from the settings
information. This address then allows the IPC-1 con guration screen to be opened and the
camera settings to be programmed.
Establishing the router‘s IP address
To identify the router’s IP address on your Mac OS X system please click the symbol
on the menu bar.
Now click “System Settings” followed by “Network”. Select the current network connection
on the left-hand side of the window. This can be identi ed by the green dot in front of it, in
this case it is “WiFi”. Click “Advanced“:
