If the filament won’t extrude from the Smart Extruder of your MakerBot 3D Printer, try unloading and reloading the filament. Press and hold the Action Button to start a filament change. Once the filament is free, the motor will reverse, allowing you to reload. To prevent future jams, let the Smart Extruder cool before turning off your MakerBot Replicator Mini.

What to do if printed object is stuck to the build plate of MakerBot Replicator 3D Printers?

If your printed object is stuck to the build plate of your MakerBot 3D Printer, remove the build plate and allow the object to cool down. Objects usually detach more easily after cooling. If it remains stuck, carefully use a thin metal craft spatula under the edge of the object, and gently twist the handle once the blade is mostly underneath to free the object.
