•Obtainthesamedepthforthepistonring(2)with
Depthgauge(electronic)[145]
•MeasuretheringgapwiththeFeelergauge[139]

Thekeystoneringgapmustbe0.45–0.55mm.
Thetaper-faceringgapmustbe0.45–0.55mm.
Thedouble-bevelledringgapmustbe0.30–0.50
mm.
Iftheringgapsareoutoftolerance,tnewpiston
rings(asasetonly,notindividually).

Pistonringpliers[141](1),ensuringthatthegaps
are120°offset
