55.3 JIB - BASKET REMOVAL - REFIT
WARNING
Before any work on the hose the hydraulic circuit, pressure is released using the
emergency post (by opening the circuit).
55.3.1 TELESCOPE CYLINDER REMOVAL REFIT
Extend the moving tube approximately 2 m (6.56 ft) to expose the
cylinder head pivot pin (1
, 055 - 38).
Remove the circlips from one side and remove the pivot pin (the
cylinder is wedged in the tube).
Fully retract the cylinder.
Remove the cover plate at the foot of the telescope (1, 055 - 37).
Locate the 2 hoses (1, 055 - 36) and disconnect them.
Relieve the load from the cylinder foot and remove the cylinder
(1, 055 - 35).
Take out the cylinder by lifting its foot.
TELESCOPE CYLINDER REFIT
TIP
Adjust the position of the cylinder head with the pivot pin bushes using the
emergency station and with the assistance of another person.
Place the valve of the emergency station in the neutral position!
2 Hoses: 49 N.m (433.69 lb-in) ±10 %
2 Cylinder foot pivot pin locking screw: 57 N.m (504.49 lb-in) ±10 %
