TIP
Adjust the hydraulic jack to act on the valve of the lifting cylinder of the emergency
station to adjust the centering of the pivot pin and relieve stress on the pin.
Place the valve of the emergency station in the neutral position!
Remove the lifting cylinder heat pivot pin, mark the length of the
pin locking screw.
Identify and disconnect the 2 hoses.
Remove the lubrication nipples from both sides (1, 055 - 30).
Block the lower lifting tie-rods (2, 055 - 30) and the cylinder foot.
Relieve the load on the mechanically-welded link rod of the
telescope hinge (3, 055 - 41).
Adjust the height of the telescope xed tube (1, 055 - 41) to assist
the removal of the pin, mark the length of the pin locking screw.
LIFTING CYLINDER REFIT
Pay attention to the length of the pin locking screw.
2 Pin locking screw: 26 N.m (230.12 lb-in) ±10%.
2 Hydraulic tube angle piece on telescope cylinder: 49 N.m
(433.69lb-in) ± 10%.
55.3.5 MOBILE TUBE REMOVAL REFIT
Carry out the operation: (655.3.1 TELESCOPE CYLINDER REMOVAL
- REFIT, 5 32), without removing it to have access to the tilting
cylinder foot pin.
Remove the jib.
Carry out the operation: (655.3.2 TILTING CYLINDER REMOVAL - REFIT,
5 33)
Remove the channel on the moving tube (1, 055 - 31).
Undo the shims at the top of the arm (1, 055 - 32).
Remove the lower shim screws (2
, 055 - 32).
