D ESCRIPTION:
The "TOWER-BOOM LATCH CONTROL" is located
in the tower butt section, with the colltrol level
pointed forward.
The tower-boom latch is used to hold the boom
to the underside of the tower during erection
or lowering.
CAUTION:
FOR TOWER ASSEMBLY AND ERECTION, SEE
TOWER BOOM INSTRUCTIONS.
FUNCTION
14. TOWER-BOOM LATCH CONTROL:
Pull Lever Down -
Release boom for erection.
CAUTION:
DO NOT PULL LEVER DOWN BEFORE THETOWER
HAS BEEN COMPLETELY ERECTED, AND THE
"BACK STAY STRUTS" HAVE BEEN SECURED.
