3.5. AdJUSt description and use
The individual proles and their activation parameters are xed in the process of manufacture. Some users may prefer a higher activation
altitude, which gives them more time to deal with an emergency in case of activation. In some countries or at some dropzones a higher
activation altitude may be required by local regulations. The AdJUSt function allows the user to modify the current prole and increase the
activation altitude in case this is considered necessary. In the current prole the “Top” activation altitude may be increased in several steps, A1
to A9. The individual increments are approx. 30 m / 100 ft. The maximum increase in the activation altitude is approx. +270 m / 900 ft. The
AdJUSt setting is permanent and is displayed together with the current prole on the control unit display.
Warning:
- The altitude lock increases adequately according to the selected step A1 to A9! (Section 7.2.)
- Take care to open the main parachute in time as you may quickly reach the activation altitude!
Procedure of setting the AdJUSt function can be found in Section 6.3.
