3. Profiles
3.1. Description
Prole is a set of parameters that determine the conditions for activation of the m
2
multi device. The most important parameters are the acti-
vation altitude and the fall rate. The parameters of the individual proles are xed. The user may select and set a prole depending on his skills,
used parachute and sports performance or focus. The prole setting is permanent and may be changed in the SETUP menu.

3.2.1. STUDENT (Stu)
The STUDENT prole is designed for basic training of students and AFF. It is activated when the height above the landing location is lower than
approx. 330
m
/ 1 100ft and fall rate is higher than approx. 13
m
.s

/ 29mph. The altitude lock opens at approx. 450
m
/ 1 475ft. The device
does not activate when below approx. 60
m
/ 195ft. The activation zone is thus in the range of approx. 330
m
to 60
m
/ 1 100ft to 195ft above
the landing location.

If the student-skydiver does not go on with the jump and lands on board the aircraft, switch o the m
