AIR RESTRICTOR ADJUSTMENT
The replace is equipped with a restrictor plate that is located inside the top chamber of the replace. Depending upon the
vent conguration, you may be required to adjust the restrictor position
1. Remove glass frame. See Glass Frame Removal, page 33.
2. Using a Phillips screw driver, loosen the screw that secures the air restrictor. Do not back the screw all the way out.
3. Slide the bafe on top of the restrictor plate such that it blocks a percentage of the grill opening. Refer to the chart below
for recommended settings.
Venting Height (feet) % of Grill Opening
8 to 20 100% (Factory Setting)
20 to 30 75%
30 to 40 50%
Note: All the settings above are based on the testing at the factory and provided as a guide for startup.
On certain applications, adding a restrictor disc will help to achieve flame aesthetics.
