Rear Axle Differential Lock
When driving on rugged or muddy roads,
locking the differential case in the rear axle
gearbox will give you the best traction. In
this case, the two rear wheels will be driven
at the same rate. It may not be useful to
lock the differential case after you’ve lost
traction, because the skid process has
destroyed the soil structure. Even if you
lock the differential, the rear wheels may
continue to slip and will not drive the vehicle
ahead.

POTENTIAL HAZARD
The rear axle differential is in a locking
state while driving on the standard
road.
WHAT CAN HAPPEN
The vehicle will be difficult to drive,
