MLI Ultra 12/2750, 12/5500, 24/5500 ā User and Installation Manual
Protection
The MLI Ultra is equipped with a Battery Management System (BMS). The BMS:
- balances the voltages between the cells;
- protects each cell from undercharging and overcharging;
- prevents too deep battery discharges;
- monitors the temperature of battery cells;
- communicates with Mastervolt charge devices over MasterBus or CZone;
- sends out warnings and alarms (to a display like the SmartRemote or EasyView 5 e.g.).
These protection and alarm features can be programmed as MasterBus events/CZone circuits,
that display warnings or intervene on the electrical system.
Identification label
The identification label is located on the top side of the MLI Ultra
5500 and on the back side of the MLI Ultra 2750. Technical
information required for service and maintenance (part number,
serial number and revision code) can be derived from the
identification label.
CAUTION!
Never remove the identification label.
This will void the warranty.
