CAUTION
The trailing edge of each
guide tape must be on top or
the tape edge can be caught
on the feed ribbons, causing
it to break.
8. Align and overlap the ends of the guide
tape 5 to 6” (120 to 150 mm). Be sure
the trailing edge of the guide tape is on
top and the leading edge is on the bottom
(Figure 7-9).
9. Staple the ends together, placing a staple
near each end of the tape with one to three
additional staples spaced evenly between
(Figure 7-10).
10. Repeat Steps 7 to 9 for the remaining
guide tapes.
11. Replace red safety nger guard by revers-
ing Step 5.
12. Re-tension the compression roll by tight-
ening the bottom adjustment locknuts.
13. Close and secure both endframe doors.
