14 Reinsert the drip tray without the coee grounds container and
place the coee grounds container under the milk shower.
→ The symbol for the water tank illuminates.
15 Thoroughly rinse the water tank, ll it to the max. mark with fresh
tap water.
16 Press the button for coee strength to continue with the inte-
grated descaling programme.
→ Water ows in multiple intervals out of the milk shower into the cof-
fee grounds container. The symbol for the milk shower ashes
during this process. Subsequently, the symbol for the milk shower
illuminates.
→ Phase 2 is completed.
Phase 3
During Phase 3, three bean symbols are shown on the display.
17 Turn the rotary switch for the milk shower anti-clockwise to close
the milk shower.
→ Water ows inside the appliance into the drip tray. Subsequently,
the symbol for the drip tray illuminates.
18 Empty the drip tray and then reinsert it.
→ The standby symbol is illuminated after a brief heat-up phase.
The appliance is ready for operation.
