11 Care and maintenance
General cleaning
Wipe off the outside of the appliance with a soft, damp cloth and an off-
the-shelf dishwashing detergent.
Empty and clean the drip tray (Fig. A, no. 1) regularly, at the latest
however when the oat projects out of the drip grate.
Clean the coffee grounds container regularly.
Cleaning the milk shower: Turn the milk shower in the direction of the
arrow (Fig. F) and thoroughly rinse it off under owing water.
Caution!
To avoid damage to the appliance surface do not use any micro-bre
cloths, scouring cloths, sponges or cleaning agents.
Do not clean the drip tray and brewing unit in the dishwasher; this could
cause deformation.
Note
The coffee grounds container (Fig. A, no. 1) is dishwasher-safe and can be
washed in the dishwasher. Frequent washing in the dishwasher can cause
slight discolouration on the collection container for coffee grounds.
