10 Leave the milk shower open.
11 Empty the coffee grounds container and the drip tray and then reinsert the
drip tray. Place the coffee grounds container under the milk shower again.
The symbol for the water reservoir is illuminated.
12 Rinse out the water reservoir and ll it with tap water to the Max. marking.
13 Press the button for brewing strength , to continue with the integrated
decalcifying program.
Water ows in multiple intervals out of the milk shower into the coffee
grounds container. The symbol for the milk shower ashes during this
process. Subsequently, the symbol for the milk shower will be illuminated.
14 Turn the rotary switch for the milk shower anticlockwise to close the milk
shower.
Water ows inside the appliance into the drip tray. Subsequently, the symbol
for the drip tray will be illuminated.
15 Empty the drip tray and then reinsert it.
The standby symbol is illuminated after a brief heat-up phase.
The appliance is ready for operation.

sures for longer periods of non-use
Allowing liquids in the appliance to evaporate
We recommend that you dry out the appliance if it will not be used for an extended
period of time. This protects the appliance from damage due to freezing.
Prerequisite: The appliance is ready for operation.
