Disposal
Dispose of packaging materials in an environmentally friendly manner in the collection containers provided for
this purpose.
In accordance with EC Directive 2012/19, the device must be disposed of in an orderly manner at the end of its
service life. In this case, valuable materials contained in the device are recycled and the pollution of the
environment is avoided. Contact your local waste disposal company or your local administration for more
information.
9. WARRANTY, SERVICE AND MANUFACTURER INFORMATION
Warranty conditions
Your statutory warranty rights apply to this product. We also offer a 3-year warranty on this product. This does
not limit your statutory warranty rights. The following warranty conditions apply:
We will repair any damage or defects to the device free of charge, which can be proven to be due to a
manufacturing defect. Please report any faults immediately after detection and within the warranty period.
The warranty does not cover batteries or fragile parts such as glass or plastic. A warranty obligation is not
triggered by slight deviations from product descriptions that are irrelevant to the value or usability of the device,
by damage caused by chemical, electrochemical or water influences, and generally by abnormal external
conditions.
The warranty is provided in such a way that, at our discretion, defective parts are repaired free of charge or
replaced by faultless parts. Devices with warranty claims must be handed over to the point of purchase or sent to
our service centre. Replaced parts are passed into our ownership.
When asserting the guarantee, the proof of purchase with the date of purchase or delivery must always be
submitted or sent.
The warranty claim expires if repairs or interventions carried out by unauthorized persons are the cause of the
warranty claim.
Warranty services do not extend the warranty period, nor do they set a new period in motion. The warranty
period for installed spare parts ends with that for the entire device.
Further claims, in particular for compensation for damage incurred outside the device, are excluded – unless
justified by legal regulations.
