8.2 Fan Filter Replacement
The fan filter should be inspected at least monthly. (If installed in a dusty or dirty environment, it
should be checked weekly or twice-weekly.) The filter is changed as follows:
Open the door of the filter compartment.
Grasp the upper fin as shown and gently pull.
The snaps should release, allowing the door
to open as shown.
Lower the door as shown to expose the filter
material.
Using a 1/4” nut driver, remove the four #4-
40 nuts that hold the filter frame in place.
Lift the filter frame off and carefully set it
aside for re-use with the new filter material.
Do not lose the nuts.
