qualiedassistanceoranMGAuthorisedRepaireratthe
earliestopportunity.
IfanABSfailureoccurswhiledriving,ABSoperationwill
besuspended,butnormalbrakingwillstillbeavailable.

Thiswarninglightilluminatesandextinguishes
asalampcheckwhentheignitionisswitchedon.
Subsequentilluminationmayindicateafaultwiththe
brakingsystemsuchasparkingbrakeon,brakeuidlevel
isloworelectronicbrakeforcedistributionfailure.
Iftheparkingbrakeisinadvertentlyleftapplied,thelight
willashandanaudiblewarningwillsoundwhenthe
vehiclespeedexceeds3MPH(5km/h).Ifthewarning
lampremainsonaftertheparkingbrakehasbeenreleased,
itindicatesthatthereisafailureinthebrakingsystem.
Stopthecarassoonassafetypermitsandseekqualied
assistanceoranMGAuthorisedRepairerattheearliest
opportunity.
Whentheignitionisswitchedoffandthedriver'sdoor
isopened,iftheparkingbrakeisnotapplied,theparking
brakealarmwillbeactivated.Thewarninglightwillash
accompaniedbyanaudiblewarning.
