Salt refill indicator
If the level in the salt container is low and a
reactivation is carried out, the following
message appears on the display:
OK
Refill salt -appliance will be locked
shortly.
Confirm the message with OK.
Fill the salt container as described.
If the message is being displayed for the first
time, further program runs may be possible
depending on the set water hardness. If no
salt is added, the message is displayed again
at the end of every program.
Reactivation notification

You can set how many cleaning cycles in ad-
vance you want to be notified of the upcom-
ing reactivation; see “Extended settings”,
“Reactivation notification”.
Machine blocked if salt is not avail-
able
If the salt in the water softener has been
used up, a fault appears on the display and
the machine blocked from performing fur-
ther applications.
Acknowledge the fault by tapping on the
warning symbol. Then follow the instructions
on the display:
OK
F561 Machine locked insufficient salt:
Refill regeneration salt. Machine will
unlock after a few seconds. Then start
the “Rinse” program.
Fill the salt container as described.
The machine lock is lifted with a delay of a
few minutes once salt has been added.
