Power failure during the wash cycle
Switch off the machine.
Switch the machine off with the on-site power switch.
Close the on-site shut-off valves for water or steam.
To remove the laundry, first open the drain valve manually and then
manually unlock the door.
Guide the T40 Torx wrench for the emergency-door release through
the eye on the front of the machine.
Open the drain valve by pulling the eye using the Torx wrench.
Keep pulling the eye until the suds have drained away completely.
The suds will drain away.
The emergency drain closes automatically when the Torx wrench is
removed from the eye.
Push the eye back in as far as it will go.
Opening the door
in an emergency in
case of a power
failure
The drum door cannot be opened.
Warning! Danger from rotating drum and danger of scalding.
Before inserting the Torx wrench, make sure that the machine is
disconnected, the drum has stopped, and there is no water in the
machine.
