10. TROUBLESHOOTING
The following table provides the HistosMATE operator with possible causes in the event a problem develops
with the unit.
PROBLEM
DIAGNOSIS
The unit does not
switch on
Check the power cord is connected If the problem persists, call Service technician
Paraffin traces are
still present after the
cleaning cycles
If the reagent replacements have been carried out properly, check that the
mechanical stirrer is moving correctly and that there is nothing preventing it from
rotating correctly
Check that it is not the rinsing ethanol that is excessively contaminated with traces of
paraffin.
