Useful Function
Select the use method of the Post Cure Unit (setting secondary curing)
Set the use method of the Post Cure Unit.
Depending on the setting value of “DRAWING RANGE” of the maintenance function, the setting contents differ.
When [DRAWING RANGE] is “Cure Print”
Set the use method of the post cure and the feed method When [DRAWING RANGE] of the maintenance
function is “Cure Print”.

Press the key in the local mode.

Select the [SET UP] by pressing the or key
and press the key.

Select the [POST CURE] by pressing the
or key and press the key.
• When [DRAWING RANGE] of the maintenance function is “Cure
Print”, the right screen is displayed.

Select a value by pressing the or key.
Set values : NONE, REMOTE, PRINT

Press the key.
• If you select “NONE” in the Step 4, proceed to the Step 8.
Value Outline
NONE
The Post Cure Unit is not used.
(Only the UV LED unit attached on the left side of the carriage evaporates ink.)
REMOTE
After REMOTE is set and when first drawing starts, the lamp of the post cure unit lights. (While
the machine is in the REMOTE status, the lamp lights continuously.)
When you draw multiple data continuously etc., as ON/OFF of the lamp is not switched
depending on the machine status, lamp consumption becomes less.
In addition, the lamp remains turned off at test drawing.
PRINT
The lamp of the Post Cure Unit lights at drawing.
• If you make the secondary cure setting to “REMOTE”, even if drawing is completed, the lamp remains
lit while the machine is in the remote status. This may wear the lamp, therefore, it is recommended to
switch the machine to the local mode quickly if you do not draw for a long time.
• If there remains data not being drawn in the machine, even if you switch the machine to the local
mode, the lamp is not turned off. Draw such data, or delete them.
• During test drawing, the lamp remains turned off.
• After ink curing, the Post Cure Unit becomes hot. Do not touch it after curing preferably.
