Cleaning nozzle face automatically
Setting of Interval Wiping
When predetermined times of printing is completed, nozzle face of the head is cleaned automatically to remove
ink droplets stuck to the nozzle face.

Select the “PERIODIC MAINTENANCE MODE” of the maintenance menu.
(1)Press the key in the local mode.
(2)Select the [MAINTENANCE] by pressing the or key, and press the key.
(3)Select the [PERIODIC MAINTE] by pressing the or key.
(4)Press the key.

Select the [WIPING] by pressing the or key.

Set the number of printing times (OFF, 1~100) by
pressing the or key.
• If it is set to “OFF”, the periodical cleaning is not performed.

Select the head and set execution/non-execution of
wiping.
(1) Select the head with or keys.
(2) Select execution/non-execution of the wiping
with or keys.
Execute Wiping : A color of an ink cartridge being set is displayed.
Not Execute Wiping : “ - ” is displayed

Press the key.

Press the key several times to end the setting.
