Warning / Error Messages
If some trouble occurs, the buzzer sounds and the display shows a corresponding error message.
Take an appropriate remedy for the displayed error.

Message Cause Solution
INVAILD OPERATION
:MOTOR POWER OFF
The motor is "OFF". (For example, after the
cover is opened.)
• Return to LOCAL and make sure that the
initialization operation is completed, and
then execute the function.
INVAILD OPERATION
INK ERROR
An ink error has occurred.
• Replace the IC chip with a new one, and
then execute the function.
INVAILD OPERATION
COVER OPEN
The cover is open or the emergency switch
is pressed.
• Close the cover, and then execute the
function.
INVAILD OPERATION
DATA REMAIN
Data has been received.
• Clear the data, and then execute the
function.
Message Cause Solution
WRONG INK IC The IC chip cannot be read normally.
• Check if the IC chip is inserted properly.
• Reinsert the IC chip properly.
• Turn off the power on the machine and
turn it on after a while.
• When displaying again, contact your
local distributor, our sales office, or
service center.
INK TYPE
The types of the installed ink bottle and the
IC chip are different.
• Set the correct ink type of IC chip.
INK COLOR A wrong color of IC chip is mounted. • Set the correct ink color of IC chip.
NO INK IC No IC chip (IC chip is not mounted.)
• Set an IC chip.
• Check if the IC chip is inserted properly.
• Turn off the power on the machine and
turn it on after a while.
• When displaying again, contact your
local distributor, our sales office, or
service center.
INK END "INK END" (no ink remains in the bottle) • Replace to the new ink bottle.
INK NEAR END
"INK NEAR END" (very little ink remains in
the bottle)
• The ink will run out shortly. Be careful.
Expiration The ink has expired.
• Replace with new ink or use up as quickly
as possible. Printing is possible.
Expiration:1MONTH
The ink is one month past its expiration
date and cannot be used.
• Replace with new ink or use up as quickly
as possible. Printing is possible.
Expiration:2MONTH
The ink is two months past its expiration
date and cannot be used.
• Replace with new ink. Printing is not
possible.
