Set the mist filter in the new mist filter box.

Set the new mist filter box in its original
position.

Set the mist filter in the new mist filter box.
• Insert until it clicks into place, and confirm that the
tabs are engaged.

Once replacement is complete, close the
maintenance cover, then press the
key.
LED Glass Replacement
Replace with new LED glass if the ink hardens and the
existing LED glass becomes dirty.

Press the
(MENU)
in LOCAL mode.

Press to select “
MAINTENANCE
”,
and press the key.
• MAINTENANCE MENU will be displayed.

Press the key.
• “STATION” will be selected.

Press the key.
• “CARRIGE OUT” will be selected and the carriage
will move.

Open the left maintenance cover.

Remove the LED glass.
• Unclip the tabs and slide to the side to remove.
• Be careful not to apply too much force when
unclipping the tabs. Disregarding this precaution
may break the tabs.

Mount a new LED glass.
• UInsert until it clicks into place, and confirm that
the tabs are engaged.

Once replacement is complete, close the
cover, then press the key.
If a Waste Ink Tank Confirmation
Message Appears
Ink used in head cleaning, etc. is stored in the waste ink
tank on the lower right side of the machine.This machine
counts the accumulated amount of discharged ink. When
that reaches a specified amount, the machine displays a
confirmation message.Use it as a guide for replacing the
waste ink tank.

The warning message “Check waste ink”
is displayed.

Empty the waste ink tank according to
“Discard waste ink”( P.4-23).
• When it is different from the actual amount, press
[][] and correct.
• The message is displayed when it reaches 80%
(1.3L ) of the 1.6L tank.
• Check the waste ink level in the waste ink tank
frequently. Continuing to use the product without
disposing of the waste ink may result in waste ink
overflowing from the waste ink tank.
